Precision Public Health Asia Conference 2025: Transforming Public Health for a Healthier and More Equitable Future

Precision public health represents a transformative evolution in the way we understand, address, and improve population health, moving beyond a one-size-fits-all solution with the aim to deliver interventions that are as nuanced and diverse as the communities they serve. By harnessing the power of genomics, artificial intelligence, big data, and digital health, this emerging field offers unprecedented potential to predict, prevent, and manage health issues with precision and equity. In a region like Southeast Asia that is marked by deep social, economic, and environmental diversity, precision public health holds the key to overcoming persistent disparities and responding to complex, rapidly evolving health challenges.
The Precision Public Health Asia (PPHA) 2025 Conference will serve as a global hub for advancing the future of public health. Held from 15 to 17 July 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, it will bring together thought leaders, scientists, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and innovators to explore bold ideas and transformative solutions. Jointly organised by Monash University Malaysia’s Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Precision Public Health Asia Society, with support from the Malaysian Convention and Exhibition Bureau, this landmark event will convene a diverse international community dedicated to advancing data-driven solutions and collaborative strategies for the future of public health.
Following a successful 2023 conference in Singapore, PPHA 2025 is one of the region’s leading platforms for collaborative, cross-sector solutions that bring together the latest advancements in genomics, AI, big data, and digital health. Sponsored by global healthcare leaders including Amplify Health, Becton Dickinson, GE Healthcare, Google Health, Roche, Sysmex, and Takeda, this event reflects the growing international commitment to reimagine public health systems with precision and equity at the core.
This year’s program features a keynote address, ministerial dialogues, and high-level plenaries on actionable topics, from disease surveillance and predictive analytics to population health management and digital transformation. Set against the backdrop of Southeast Asia’s growing health innovation ecosystem, the PPHA 2025 Conference is poised to become a defining event in shaping the region’s future, where health interventions are no longer reactive but precise, proactive, and deeply personalised. Together, we will reimagine what public health can achieve when driven by data, empowered by technology, and centred on people.
