No voice is wrong, no voice is right. We all learn together. Everyone has a voice to look forward to our betterment of our healthcare in Malaysia

A Live Podcast on Smarter Digitalisation

One of the most engaging segments of the summit was the live podcast session moderated by Jason Lim, CEO of Medical Channel Asia. Joined by Dr. Melvin Heng, Dr. Ramon Varughese, and Shahril Ariffin, the panel explored the realities of digitalisation in healthcare.

Dr. Heng highlighted the importance of customised digital strategies that reflect each organisation’s unique operational needs. The discussion also addressed common barriers such as resource allocation and data integration. The candid tone of the session made it clear that the path to digital transformation is not one-size-fits-all but deeply contextual and strategic.

Lesson from Medical Influencer

Attendees were given a unique glimpse into the world of healthcare content creation through two engaging “Playbook” sessions, featuring some of the region’s most recognisable medi-influencers. Among them were Dr. Amanda Elli (also known as Dr. Unicorn), Dr. Azhar Ahmad, Dr. Malwinder Singh, Dr. Maiza Tusimin, Dato’ Dr. Tikfu Gee, and Dr. Lim Ing Kien (Dr. Ingky). While last year’s panel drew high praise, this year’s sessions delivered even more depth, diversity, and practical insight.

Adding a refreshing voice to the stage was Mr. Jeremiah Chin, a strategic healthcare consultant from Singapore who has also made a name for himself as a content creator in his 70s. His story was a reminder that it’s never too late to start building an online presence, especially when it’s rooted in purpose and passion.

Returning to the panel this year, Dato’ Dr. Tikfu Gee shared how he has helped guide other healthcare professionals on their digital journey. He stressed the importance of staying authentic and consistent, noting that reliability is often what patients value most.

“Always be as authentic as you can. It’s not only about credibility. What patients want from you is reliability,” he said.

The advice was echoed by others on the panel, who emphasised that professionalism and consistency go a long way. Trying too hard to sell can risk losing the trust that makes healthcare content so impactful in the first place.

The overall message was clear: whether you are just starting out or already building momentum online, staying true to your voice and values is key to connecting with your audience in a meaningful way.

Innovation on Display What Guests Discovered Between Sessions

While the main ballroom featured impactful discussions, the excitement extended into the exhibition hall where energy and engagement remained high throughout the day. From early morning coffee to the final wrap-up, the exhibitor zone was alive with movement, connection, and discovery.

Attendees explored booths hosted by a variety of healthcare organisations, engaging in conversations, learning about new solutions, and exchanging ideas that often led to meaningful collaborations beyond the event.

Booth sponsors such as KL Wellness City, Alpha Fertility, Gene Solutions, WeAssist, and Quantum Advisors brought forward a range of healthcare innovations, each offering a glimpse into the evolving future of the industry.

WeAssist added a creative twist to the space with an interactive giveaway that kept visitors engaged throughout the event. A dedicated photobooth also proved popular, giving attendees the opportunity to capture memories and share their experience in a fun and memorable way.
