
Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) is celebrating World Heart Day 2026 with three days of health education, screenings and community activities from 8 to 10 October 2026.
On 8 and 9 October, doctors, dietitians and physiotherapists are invited to the HKL SCACC Lobby for general health talks and health-screening booths from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The celebration continues at Perdana Botanical Gardens on 10 October with activities open to everyone, including:
- 3km Fun Run and 1km Kids Run
- CPR and AED training
- Pound Fitness, Zumba and aerobics
- Health checks and sponsor booths
- Lucky draws and a CPR contest
The CPR and AED training runs from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and includes practical demonstrations, hands-on training and a certificate of participation. Dato’ Dr Luah Lean Wah will join as a special guest.
A Pound Fitness session will also take place from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Participants should bring their own exercise mats, while Ripstix will be provided. The session is limited to 100 participants.
